We Have
Roots Here

Connecting Along

The 44th Parallel

Live or work in Benton, Deschutes, Lane, Lincoln, Linn or Marion county? We'd love to welcome you to our CU family.

Originally founded in 1956 by eight visionary teachers from Green Acres School in Lebanon, 44 North CU has grown from its roots as Linn-Co Federal Credit Union into a dynamic financial institution. Today, we're proud to extend our services to anyone who live, works, or organizations located in along Oregon’s 44th parallel—and their family members, no matter where they're located in the state.

UNPARALLELED SERVICE

While we’ve expanded beyond Linn County, our commitment to local service and community values remains unchanged. 44 North CU is still your neighborly credit union, dedicated to providing unparalleled banking services to Oregon's 44th parallel.

WE STAY “UNBIG”

You're more than just an account number. Our mission is to provide personalized and thoughtful financial services that make a real difference in your life.

COMMITTED TO OUR COMMUNITY

Our commitment to community involvement continues to be a cornerstone of who we are. You’ll find us actively participating in and supporting a range of organizations and events, from educational initiatives to local chambers of commerce, and community events. We are passionate about contributing to the vitality of Oregon, and like you, we proudly call it home!

WHY US?

When’s the last time you felt the peace of mind of such local control over your finances? Join us. Own us.

OWNED BY YOU

Credit Unions are financial cooperatives, which means that we are owned by the members who join, as opposed to being owned and controlled by majority stockholders.

WE'RE NOT-FOR-PROFIT

Our not-for-profit model has been around for a long time, a people helping people model. Neighbors pooling their money and lending it to one another.

GOVERNED BY VOLUNTEERS

We are governed by an all volunteer board of directors, who are elected in a democratic vote at an open annual meeting.

To start your 44 North Credit Union membership, all you need is a $25 minimum deposit into an initial membership share savings account. Once your account is open, you are eligible to apply for a loan, open a checking account and even vote for your Board of Directors at our Annual Meeting. Contact us to discuss your membership and we’ll be happy to get you started today!

There’s a saying in the credit union industry “Once a Member, Always a Member”. No matter if you move, retire, finish school or worship elsewhere–we’ll still be here to serve you and your family for years to come!
